Ed Sheeran

i am really sucky at updating this tumblr.. but i need to blog about this because it is so important that people know this stuff.. last night my friend Ilana and i wen’t to go try and find tickets to see Ed Sheeran at Mercury lounge in nyc.. The show was incredibly sold out…. now i always say there is no such thing as a sold out show but since mercury lounge holds only about 200 people… the show was SOLD out. Since we are both huge fans of Ed we decided to go and stand outside in hopes that maybe people didn’t show up or they released some tickets.. as they started to let the line in, an SUV pulled up and Ed got out.. greeted fans with smiles and very politely took pictures with everyone who asked..I decided to go for it.. ask him for a picture.. why not.. he is one of my fave singers… he graciously took a picture with me and i mentioned to him that we hoped we were able to get in to catch the set!! He took a few more pictures with fans and then headed into the venue… about 10 mins later after all of this happened and the rest of the line was in the venue, Ed and some of his people (i’m assuming one of them was his tour manager) came outside to have a smoke.. Ed walked right up to Ilana and i and said “so you really don’t have tickets for tonight” we said no we didn;t and how we had been searching far and wide for a pair. he then said he felt so bad that we were waiting outside in the cold (lol sadly we are nyers.. we know what cold is all too well) anyway long story short.. he asked his tour manager if he could put us on his list and guest listed us for his show! It was truly an amazing moment and the show was INCREDIBLE.. i am so glad to be able to be a part of Eds first ever headlining show in the U.S… i really just wanted to share with whoever might read this and is an Ed Sheeran fan… he is one of the nicest most talented people i have ever met… being able to see a live show like the one he put on is the reason why music is my life and is the reason why i do what i do…. sorry my grammatical errors are horrible.. i don’t feel like fixing them lol.. anyway since tumblr isn’t working very well.. i will post a couple pix from last night in another post
